Hiring
We are hiring, and we are hiring fast.
The last year has been the best in Plane's history. We hit new all-time highs almost daily across revenue, growth, and adoption, and we keep breaking our own records. Curiosity runs in our blood. We optimise, we iterate, and we ship like there is no tomorrow. It is a genuinely fun place to do the best work of your life. But don't take our word for it. Come find out, and be the judge yourself.
You can see every open role on our careers page.
Where we are hiring
Right now we are actively hiring in San Francisco and India.
- United States: We are setting up our San Francisco office. Until it is ready, US-based folks work remotely.
- India: We work out of Hyderabad, from a beautiful two-floor office.
We don't spend much energy on the in-office-versus-remote debate. Most of the team works from the office, but whether your role is in-office, remote, or hybrid depends entirely on the team you join and the manager you report to. Talk to them, and you will find a setup that fits the work.
How fast we move
We don't waste anyone's time. In 99% of cases we reach a decision in under a week, and there are roles we have made offers on within a few hours. How fast depends on your experience, the role we are filling, and above all on whether you are curious, willing to learn, and deeply committed.
Our process
Three stages, start to finish.
1. Intro call
A conversation to understand expectations on both sides: where you are today, what you are looking for, your financial expectations, and what working at Plane would mean for you. We believe hiring is a two-sided decision. It has to be right for you as much as for us, and being transparent early is what makes that possible.
2. Meeting the team
This stage usually has two parts.
First, you'll meet someone from the team. They'll walk you through what the work actually looks like and what you'd be stepping into, and ask a few questions about your fundamentals and how you work with AI.
Then you'll meet the person you would report to. This round gets technical, and you'll often be given a short task or take-home assignment so we can see how you think.
3. Final round
A conversation with our ops team, usually one of the founders or your future manager. If it is a fit on both sides, an offer follows.
Offers
Once you clear the final round, we'll send your offer letter. Read it in detail. We genuinely want you to understand every part of it before you sign. Sign within a week, and if it is not signed in that window, the offer is voided. We move with intent, and we hope you will too.
