You and your family are covered under Plane's group health insurance. It works in two ways: at network hospitals, treatment is cashless, so you do not pay out of pocket; anywhere else, you can pay and claim it back as a reimbursement. The sections below cover who is included and how to activate it.

Who is covered
You, your spouse, up to two dependent children (up to 25 years), and your parents (up to 80 years).
What is covered
Coverage has its own inclusions, limits, and exclusions. We highly recommend you go through the policy document in detail so you know exactly what is covered and what is not before you need it. If anything is unclear, the Plum app and helpline can help, or reach out to People Operations.
Hold a personal mediclaim too
The Plum cover is a strong baseline, but we strongly recommend you maintain your own personal mediclaim policy alongside it for complete protection.
Activating your coverage
If you have just joined, share the following with People Operations to activate your cover:
- Your full name and date of birth (as per government ID)
- Names and dates of birth of eligible dependents (as per government ID)
- Relationship and gender of each dependent

We have partnered with Rippling and CalChoice to give you a choice of carriers, including Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealthcare, and a few others. Plans follow each state's requirements, and your coverage includes medical, dental, and vision.

- Pick the carrier and plan that fits your situation
- Add eligible dependents during enrollment
